Jason Voorhees Statue Found at Bottom of Lake in Minnesota
In 1986, Tommy Jarvis tried to drown Jason Voorhees by chaining him to a boulder at the bottom of Crystal Lake. Or at least that was the ending scene in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. In 2013, Curtis Lahr decided to recreate the infamous scene at a popular diving spot in Crosby, Minnesota. He installed a life size statue of Jason Voorhees 120 feet at the bottom of a diving spot in Lake Minnetonka. The statue is complete with hockey masks and chains.
Curtis Lahr first gave us a look at the Jason Voorhees statue in June, 2014. See below:
Curtis uploaded another video in October, 2017 so that we can see how Jason is doing now:
The statue is still looking creepy. I could only imagine how a diver might feel if he or she accidentally stumbled upon the statue. Imagine if the diver didn’t know who Jason was?
